Title inspired by a possibly misremembered quote from the film Last Shift that’s been rolling around my head: “I’ll rape the humanity out of you”. It honestly describes some of Tiefer’s motive for his cruelty:  the desire to destroy and make someone else as hollow as he feels and as inhuman as he allowed himself to become.
