I love how Toho stages 憎しみ (HASS), a song I usually haaaate, because it’s genuinely creepy, nightmarish, and ultimately sad, especially at the end as the intro to 闇が広がる starts up and how Death enters the scene from behind the Nazi flag. Plus, the way Toho places the song as between 父と息子 and 闇が広がる makes more narrative sense IMO, given the whole sinking empire theme.

Ohana has this totally devious “haha I win you lose” smirk that I can’t capture as 私が踊る時 starts up.

Baby Rudolf is adorable and Death is the Worst Friend Ever™

Sad they changed the line from  死ねばいい which……why. It’s so DRAMATIC. Then again, nothing will beat Mizu’s  死ねばいい!!!!!! reveal.
